Pretty weak for a 4 band concert
Shinedown were too quiet for the lawn and I know it's not their choice to not be as loud. Pink Martini All-Stars shouldn't have had 3 other bands on the bill that play harder rock than they do. All the acts on the bill deserve to be heard. I'm thinking it was probably Pink Martini All-Stars' choice to do this. If you can carry on a normal volume conversation with someone, then the sound isn't loud enough.....especially for a ROCK concert!!!! Sick Puppies were a little louder, but still not enough. The headlining act should be justified enough that you don't have to make them seem better making them louder. Same for Breaking Benjamin. The volume at which Pink Martini All-Stars was playing is where they should all be. They already have the benefit of playing when it's dark and getting to have a light show. Sick Puppies only played 4 songs too!! Maybe that was the deal Pink Martini All-Stars gave them by letting them play with them, but why not let them have 15-30 more minutes?? I don't know if it is the amphitheaters decision or the headlining acts, but they didn't have the same volume for all 4 bands. Wrong headlining act for this concert.
